Experience beautiful themed gardens, rich with smells, colors and textures, limited only by the imagination. Some will take you back in time, some to far away lands. This is the place the Gardens Holiday Express comes to life during the winter holiday season. A Japanese Autumn exhibition produced one of the finest Bonsai displays Meijer Gardens has every seen. A Henry Moore sculpture exhibition prompted a cozy English Cottage Garden complete with a small thatched home, stone walls and a massing of flowers jostling for attention as you walked by. The special indoor feature is always in motion, as flowers fade new ones are slipped in. When the temperatures get too high a fog of cool mist is emitted to make the glasshouse more pleasurable. Truly a must see garden and popular for teas and weddings.
