The Gardens Experience

Amphitheater - Facts About the Concert Series

Food and Beverages

Food and beverages—such as hot dogs, snacks, soft drinks, water, beer, and wine—will be available for purchase at the Gardens' amphitheater concessions area for concerts designated [BS]. For concerts designated [BCS], food and beverages will be available for purchase at the Gardens' amphitheater concessions area and at the Taste of the Gardens Café, which is located inside the main building of the Gardens.

As an option, please feel free to bring your own picnic food and non-alcoholic beverages—in non-glass containers—to enjoy during concerts.

Alcohol may not be brought on the premises. The Gardens' liquor license permits the sale of beer and wine at concerts but does not allow any alcohol to be brought onto the Gardens' property. All alcoholic beverages will be confiscated if brought on site.

Picnic baskets, bags, and purses may be subject to security searches.

Seating at Concerts

All seating is general admission lawn seating.

All shows are rain or shine.

Only low-rise lawn chairs or blankets are allowed into concerts. (Low rise chair definition: 10 inches or less from ground to seat, back no more than 26 inches high.) A limited number of lawn chairs are available for seating in the top tier for a $5 rental fee.

The Gardens is a no-smoking facility and smoking inside concert gates is prohibited.

Children two and younger are admitted to concerts free.

Gates open at 6 pm and concerts will begin at 7 pm.

Refunds will only be offered if a concert is cancelled due to extreme weather, such as a tornado warning or lightning.

Weather Policy

If weather radar indicates a strong line of storms with little chance of a break on the day of the concert, an alternative venue will be sought to hold the concert indoors. If a venue is not available, the concert will remained scheduled within the outdoor amphitheater up until the time of the concert (7 pm). If at 7 pm, there is either a watch or warning (tornado or lightning storm) for our area, the concert will be cancelled and money will be refunded. If a concert is underway and a lightning storm or tornado situation arises during the concert, the concert may need to end, and there will be no refunds. Choice of whether or not to continue a concert after adverse weather passes will be determined on a case-by-case basis, based on consultation with appropriate weather experts.
