Modeling with Wax

Explore this malleable and fun medium. Edgar Degas created his sculptures from wax before they were cast in bronze. Create armatures from wire; then add wax to form your figure. Express movement, poses and action in your work.

Papermaking with Botanicals

Make beautiful, hand-made paper using recycled paper and botanicals. Bring your own dried and pressed f lowers, seeds and leaves or use ours. Barbara and Cindy will provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to prepare the botanicals and make the pulp. Take home your own creations as well as ideas for many future projects.

Drawing the Figure from Live Models
