Art & Gardens Book Discussion Group
Join us for our new book discussion group for members beginning in October. The group is led by librarian Shelly Kilroy and will meet from 1–3 pm the first Tuesday of each month, with a summer hiatus in June, July and August. Inquire at the admission desk for meeting location. Read the book, then participate in discussions about books like:
October: My Name is Asher Lev — a compelling novel offering a vision of what it means to be an artist
November: Aldo Leopold: A Fierce Green Fire — a biography of the highly revered environmentalist and naturalist
December: A Clearing in the Distance: Frederick Law Olmsted and America in the 19th Century — the landscape designer who changed the face of America
