Taste of the Gardens Café
Enjoy lunch (or dinner on Tuesday evenings) at Taste of the Gardens Café, with its dazzling ceiling sculpture by renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly. Named Lena’s Garden in honor of Lena Meijer, the sculpture, comprised of dozens of individual blown-glass pieces, spans the ceiling in a spectrum of colors from cool greens, cobalt blues and purples to brilliant oranges, yellows and reds.
The menu features a kid's menu, sandwiches, salads as well as entrees and a variety of beverages from coffee to soft drinks, juices, wine and locally-made and national beer. The café accommodates 100 indoors and 50 outdoors. The indoor area includes booth seating and the outdoor terrace features a picturesque water fountain. Taste of the Gardens Café is located close to the entrance and guests are not required to pay admission to enjoy the café. Free wireless internet is available. Come as often as you'd like to enjoy the enticing menu within a lovely setting.
Taste of the Gardens Café is also one of seven caterers who can offer wonderful options for your next rental event.
The dining room is for café guests only; no food is allowed to be brought into Meijer Gardens due to Health Department requirements.
Vending machines with snacks and soft drinks are available on the lower level of the main building and at rest areas throughout the grounds.
